Gives and Takes Away

The Lord gives and takes away... The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away; may the name of the Lord be praised. Job 1:21 Friends- be courageous! Pursue and trust God...believe His promises to you. There will be seasons when you do not get what you want but you will get what you need. Prayer: Lord, you know the pain, circumstances, concerns, and needs that make up my heart today, Thank you, that today you are at work. Help me to trust you. In Jesus Name, Amen

Philippians 1:6

He is not done with you... "He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus." Philippians 1:6 What good work have God begun in you? What purpose are you called to? Be encouraged that He will see you all the way to the finish line. The Prayer: Jesus, I trust you to complete what you have begun in me. I will complete all you have created me to do. Amen. En Español: "Estoy convencido de esto: el que comenzó tan buena obra en ustedes la irá perfeccionando hasta el día de Cristo Jesús." Filipenses 1:6 ¿Qué buen trabajo ha comenzado Dios en ti? ¿A qué propósito estás llamado? Anímate a que Él te vea hasta la línea de meta. El orador: Jesús, confío en ti para completar lo que has comenzado en mí. Completaré todo lo que me has creado para hacer. Amén.

Trust

Lenten Practice Give up worrying:  take up trust in God. “But blessed is the one who trusts in the L ord , whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.” Jeremiah 17:7-8 NIV
