Cling to what is good!

Cling to what is good! Romans 12:9 This week, I hope you cling to what is good. Take time today to write down what's good in your life. What are you thankful for? Now write down the things in your life that you would like to be different? The not so good things... can you let these things go? What is your life is weighing you down and keeping you from living your fullest life? Sometimes we hold on to things that are not good for us. Deep down we know that they are not good but it's hard to give them up. It takes bravery and strength to give up the bad things and to cling to the good. God will give you everything you need to make wise decisions to let go of the things in your life that are not healthy or holy. The Prayer: Lord, help me cling to what is good and to let go of that which is not healthy or holy. I need your strength and courage to take these next steps and I am counting on you to see me through this. I trust in you Lord. I trust in you. In Jesus name, Amen

Sunday Self Care

What are you favorite Sunday traditions?  I have to be at work at 7:30am most Sundays and I always look forward to a yummy lunch followed by an epic nap. The nap is very important and has been my tradition since I was a teenager attending my church in Pasadena, Texas.  I also prepare for the week ahead on Sunday evenings. I plan out my schedule, prepare meals for the week and try to get my head on straight for what lies ahead.  What are your Sunday traditions? How do you plan for the week ahead and take care of yourself?  The challenge: Pick out a Bible verse for this week. Write it down somewhere or take a picture of it. Memorize it and say it every day. You will be amazed at how God speaks to you and how you see him at work in your life. What will your verse be this week?  This is my verse for the week and I am happy to share it with you... She is clothed in strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future. Proverbs 31:25  The Prayer: Lord, hel

Let's Pray

I don't know about you but Mondays can be tough. Let's give this week over to God, trusting that He is preparing the way and walking with us. We just need to take His hand. The prayer: Lord, I give you this week and all that happens in it...help me to trust in you to provide for my needs and to walk with me through the tough days. I pray that I will be able to see how you are at work in my life and in the lives of those around me. Help me to be full of your love and grace so that I may share it with others. Thank you Lord for all that you are to me. In Jesus Name, Amen

Symphony

No matter what is going on around you or in your own heart, have hope...God is working in the midst of it all. He is writing a beautiful symphony. <>< LMW Switch, Symphony Lyric Video

Never Go Alone...

Trials and Temptations 2   Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds,  3   because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.  4   Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. Be on guard!

Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong.   1 Corinthians 16:13 NIV Sometimes we can let down our guard and it results in something good and yet other times, we can let down our guard and open ourselves up for the enemy to distract us. I pray that you can reach deep down in your heart to find the strength that God has placed there so that you may stand firm and be courageous...doing what is right and good.  The Prayer: Lord, help me to know when you lower my guard and when you be on guard. Help me to stand firm in my faith and to be strengthened by you. Give me courage to do what is right even when others do not and even when it is hard. Thank you Lord for all that you do for me. In Jesus name, Amen.  <>< LM

Monday HOPE

It's just another manic Monday!  I totally meant to write this post this morning and guess what? It's after almost 6pm and here we go. For this week, I pray you are filled with HOPE. Whatever you are going through, remember that you are not alone.  May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.  Romans 15:13 NIV The Prayer:  Lord, I need your HOPE to get me through this week. Please fill me with your joy and peace as I trust in you. In Jesus Name, Amen.  <>< LMW  Need to submit a prayer request?  SUBMIT A REQUEST ONLINE

Sappy Saturday

Hello Girls! I hope this post finds you having a relaxing Saturday. It has been an interesting last 24 hours for me where I have been having to lean into the Lord to give me direction and peace. I may have shed a few tears wrestling with a tough decision. 😉 Proverbs 2 described my current situation...and maybe some of you can relate. "My child, listen to what I say, and treasure my commands. Tune your ears to wisdom, and concentrate on understanding. Cry out for insight, and ask for understanding." Proverbs 2:1-3 NLT Sometimes, things don't make sense. Sometimes, we know what we need to do but it's not easy. In those moments, I encourage you to lean into God, to cry out for insight and to trust that you will have all of the strength you need to do what is wise and what is right. It may seem hard but in the end you will be saved from walking down a path that could harm your heart with unwanted consequences. The Prayer: Father God, Thank you for hearing me w

Amazing Monday and New Things

Good morning girls! I pray today blows your mind. It's a new week, a fresh new day and you woke up this morning with air in your lungs and the spirit of God at work in your heart. Take a deep breath with me and say "thank you Lord for this day". Be on the look out for how God is at work today. Please don't let this be an ordinary Monday- where you go through the motions. Instead, I pray that you experience God in a new way today. Isaiah 43:19   New International Version (NIV) 19  See, I am doing a new thing!      Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness      and streams in the wasteland. On this journey with you, LM Wilson
