Confidence

Confidence

Now faith is the confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.
Hebrews 11:1

Confidence, Hope and Assurance...That is what today's verse shows us about faith. They are the fruit of faith. I think we all need this fruit in our lives.

I know this season of life is strange and uncertain in many ways but God has not abandoned us. Have faith, an unshakable faith. If you need help- just ask Him!

Prayer: Opportunities to trust you are opportunities for me to grow unshakable faith in you. So, Lord, I thank you for the unfamiliar, uncertain, and difficult times. When I see you work, I see once again Your trustworthiness. Amen.

Confianza

Real World, Real Faith Series - Question #1

Question Number One "IS GOD REAL OR WAS HE MADE UP IN ORDER TO HIDE US FROM THE TRUTH?" This is a great question. I had to think and pray on my response for a few days.  Quick answer: I think He is real. I personally know that deep within my heart.  Middle length answer: I think He is real...personal experience...but I can totally see that how God is incorrectly portrayed can cause people to lack trust in Him, in faith and in Christianity as a whole. You are not alone in this question.  Long answer: I didn't grow up in a Christian home. I had the Bible through by the time I was 12ish. I knew the dos and don'ts of being a Christian...but it wasn't until I was 16- that all of that knowledge became real. Stories and rules do not make a Christian. It is a personal and real relationship with Christ. At 16, Christ became real to me. He was no longer a warm and fuzzy story but a real presence in my life. So...I guess what I am trying to say is that I hope and pray that ...
