Whatever!

Finally, sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable, if anything is excellent or praiseworthy - think about such things. Philippians 4:8

Make a list and place at least one thing next to each word- as you reflect on your current situation.
True
Noble
Pure
Lovely
Admirable
Excellent
Praiseworthy

Remember to think on the good things in your life. It is easy to become overwhelmed with what is not good. There is usually more good than bad.

Prayer: Lord, thank you for scripture that focuses our minds on the good gifts you have given us. Help us to see the good more than we see the things we are not happening the way we want them to.
Change our hearts and focus our minds. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Real World, Real Faith Series - Question #1

 Question Number One "IS GOD REAL OR WAS HE MADE UP IN ORDER TO HIDE US FROM THE TRUTH?" This is a great question. I had to think and pray on my response for a few days.  Quick answer: I think He is real. I personally know that deep within my heart.  Middle length answer: I think He is real...personal experience...but I can totally see that how God is incorrectly portrayed can cause people to lack trust in Him, in faith and in Christianity as a whole. You are not alone in this question.  Long answer: I didn't grow up in a Christian home. I had the Bible through by the time I was 12ish. I knew the dos and don'ts of being a Christian...but it wasn't until I was 16- that all of that knowledge became real. Stories and rules do not make a Christian. It is a personal and real relationship with Christ. At 16, Christ became real to me. He was no longer a warm and fuzzy story but a real presence in my life. So...I guess what I am trying to say is that I hope and pray that ...
