 May all your thoughts...

"May all my thoughts be pleasing to him, for I rejoice in the Lord." Psalm 104: 34 NLT

This week, remember to listen for the voice of God as He speaks to you through your thoughts BUT don't let the voices of others be louder than His. 

Lord, Help me to out you up front, in the driver's seat, in my thoughts so that I can keep on the right track. Amen.

Real World, Real Faith Series - Question #1

 Question Number One "IS GOD REAL OR WAS HE MADE UP IN ORDER TO HIDE US FROM THE TRUTH?" This is a great question. I had to think and pray on my response for a few days.  Quick answer: I think He is real. I personally know that deep within my heart.  Middle length answer: I think He is real...personal experience...but I can totally see that how God is incorrectly portrayed can cause people to lack trust in Him, in faith and in Christianity as a whole. You are not alone in this question.  Long answer: I didn't grow up in a Christian home. I had the Bible through by the time I was 12ish. I knew the dos and don'ts of being a Christian...but it wasn't until I was 16- that all of that knowledge became real. Stories and rules do not make a Christian. It is a personal and real relationship with Christ. At 16, Christ became real to me. He was no longer a warm and fuzzy story but a real presence in my life. So...I guess what I am trying to say is that I hope and pray that ...

Thankful Thursday  What are you thankful for today?
