Jeremiah 29:11 

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”

What does this verse mean to you? Do you believe that the Lord's thoughts towards you are of peace and hope?

Real World, Real Faith Series - Question #1

 Question Number One "IS GOD REAL OR WAS HE MADE UP IN ORDER TO HIDE US FROM THE TRUTH?" This is a great question. I had to think and pray on my response for a few days.  Quick answer: I think He is real. I personally know that deep within my heart.  Middle length answer: I think He is real...personal experience...but I can totally see that how God is incorrectly portrayed can cause people to lack trust in Him, in faith and in Christianity as a whole. You are not alone in this question.  Long answer: I didn't grow up in a Christian home. I had the Bible through by the time I was 12ish. I knew the dos and don'ts of being a Christian...but it wasn't until I was 16- that all of that knowledge became real. Stories and rules do not make a Christian. It is a personal and real relationship with Christ. At 16, Christ became real to me. He was no longer a warm and fuzzy story but a real presence in my life. So...I guess what I am trying to say is that I hope and pray that
