K is for KINDNESS! Colossians 3:12 Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourself with compassion, kindness , humility, gentleness and patience. Galatians 5:22-23 But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness , goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things. As you can see from these verses God calls us to be kind. He even says that when you take in the Holy Spirit, it will produce kindness in you. Growing up I always heard the phrase “Kill ‘em with kindness” or “You attract more bees with honey than vinegar”. The honey being kindness and the vinegar being the opposite. I don’t think people really realize how much more you can accomplish by simply being kind. Kindness does not mean be pushed around or sweep problems under the rug.
